Cet emulateur existe depuis peu mais il marche vraiment tres bien. Il y a quelques jeux qui ne sont pas emules. Il marche uniquement sur Windows XP et 2000.

- The maximum of the volume adjustment (PageUp,PageDown and
FunctionButton+UpDown) was changed to 120 from 100.
* Only the time of a play on Hu-Card game is effective for 101-120.
At playing CD-ROM game, 101-120 is the same volume as 100. (To stop
saturation of sound)
* When a check is put on the "File->Set Resume" menu, preservation and
restoration of volume setting can be done.
- Processing of ADPCM sound was improved. The sound quality improved. In the
visual scene of "Jantei Monogatari 2", the problem that sound was
difficult to catch improved.
- A volume balance of "wave memory sampling sound" was readjusted. I think

2011/12/18 2.63 released
- The performance of these days' PC improved. So the default setting was
made high-definition setting.
- At the menu space of "Save State" and "Load State", "the elapsed time from
the game start" is indicated.
* If the save file is started with the old version (before v1.14), the
elapsed time isn't indicated.
* If the game is reset by [F1] key, it's possible to reset the elapsed
time. Or, after state file of the old version is read, if you carry out
the "File->Set Resume" menu, the elapsed time is reset.
- A severe indication restriction mode of Sprite (at width 336 pixel mode)
was mounted.
* When the check is put at "CPU->Perform SpriteLimit" menu, it's
effective. In "R-TYPE Complete CD", a flicker of sprite (character)
becomes the same motion (intense flicker more the "R-Type I" of Hu-CARD)
as a real machine.

In "Metal Angel", the problem which cannot start a game (from v2.58) was

- At setting of "Option" button in the start window, "MiddleLight" button
was added. If your PC power isn't enough, please use this.
- At "TV Mode" and "Horizonal Scanlined" mode (Setting->Screen menu), the
image quality setting of default was changed. The density of scanlines was
changed to 70% from 30%.
- At 640x480FullScreen, Horizonal Scanlined (& TV Mode) and Full-Stretched
Mode, the image quality was improved. * At this mode, a stretch of screen
isn't performed. The FullScreen is drawn with drawing of overscan area.
- The speed and timing were brought close to the movement of a real machine.
In "Circuslide", the problem that BGM occasionally fell into disorder was
solved.

- "Windows Auto V-Sync (Time-Lag exists)" was added to "Setting->Screen"
menu. Use this with a PC environment to which V-Sync(flicker cancellation)
doesn't function well.
* A little display delay happens when this setting is used. With a PC
environment without the problem, please select "V-Sync (59-61Hz)".
* Only Direct3D-mode(default) is effective.
- "V-Sync Timing Adjust (for Old PC)" was added to "Setting->Screen" menu.
With old PC etc., if the upper side of the screen flickers, try this menu.
- A detailed volume balance of the Wave-Memory-Sound has been adjusted. I
think that I was able to improve tone quality.
- The processing part of the Wave-Memory-Sound has been improved. In "F1
Triple Battle", "Fire Pro Wrestling Series(1-3)" and "Formation
Soccer'90" etc., the tone has approached a real machine.
- The speed and timing were brought close to the movement of a real machine.
In "Flash Hiders", at the victory or defeat settlement, the problem that
one frame of the screen darkens (generated by a recent version) was
solved.
- When "Screen->FullScreen Customize->FullScreen Resolution Auto Change"
menu is used, when the screen is switched by the automatic operation,
the bug that had slowed (generated by v2.64) was corrected. And, it was
sped up a little.
- When "Load State" is done, the bug that the size of the window did not
uncommonly fit (generated by v2.64) was corrected.
- Additionally, a detailed part has been improved and corrected.

Some graphics/sound code has been reorganized somewhat in order to avoid needlessly reloading parts of DirectX. In the process, I fixed a bug that caused 64-bit builds (MSVC 2010 only) to crash upon changing video modes.

Tous les bugs qui faisaient planter l'émulateur dans la version Windows ont été corrigés. La version est à présent stable.

J'ai réécrit le réducteur de son concernant le scratch. Merci à Eugène pour les suggestions, les retours et sa patience.

Cet emulateur tourne tres vite mais du fait de son menu en japonais n'est pas utilisable. De plus, il y a tout un tas de fenetres a parametre, un peu complique. Si on pouvait l'avoir en anglais ca serait sympa!

Viktor, le créateur de 3DOPlay, a offert de son temps pour intégrer ses changements par rapport à FreeDO dans 4DO :
- Correction des synchronisations : un correctif plus propre pour le réglage ?temporalfixes? dans le code original de FreeDO.
- Correction des sprites dans le jeu Doom.
- Correction de la police de caractères et de la vitesse du son dans Wicked 18.
- Le son est de meilleure qualité dans certains jeux (Need For Speed, Escape from Monster Manor, Star Fighter, Slayer, Pyramid Intruder).
- Les jeux fonctionnent plus vite (ajout de quelques optimisations).
- Correction de l'erreur ?Bad Slack Calc".
En plus de ces changements, Johnny, le créateur de 4DO, a apporté 2 modifications :
- Dans le moteur de rendu DirectX, correction d'un mauvais alignement de pixel en diagonal lors de l'utilisation d'image non-lissée lors d'un redimensionnement.
- 4DO émule maintenant uniquement les contrôleurs qui peuvent être configurés. Par exemple, si vous avait réglé uniquement les boutons de la manette #1, 4DO émulera seulement un contrôleur rattaché. Ca résout un problème de contrôles qui ne répondaient pas dans Super Wing Commander. Cependant, si vous réglez 6 manettes, le jeu reproduira le même problème.

What?s new in psx4droid 3.0.0? Well it?s based on a different emulator, PCSX-ReARMed. It has a better dynarec (cpu emulation technique) and lands up being much faster in general. It?s using a software GPU for graphics rendering, though I have an OpenGL ES 1.1 GPU made. OpenGL ES 1.1 is hit or miss for this type of rendering on Android devices. Many of these high end devices have slow Adreno 100 GPUs. So soft GPU is the way to go for now, especially with some improvements to come.
psx4droid 3.0.0 should have great compatibility, better performance, though it may be a lil rough around the edges when it comes to the settings panel. If you notice a force close in it, it?s bound to be fixed coming up.
Note that all save states previous to 3.0.0 are no longer compatible. If you have quick saves, be sure to turn OFF quick load before running games in 3.0.0. You should save over the quick saves or delete them before turning back on quick load.

- Save disks changes to VMU
DCaSTaway can save to VMU disk sectors changed using ZIP compression. For games as SimCity, now you can save your new cities and continue at future. A new menu option called "Save Disks" has added for enable or disable this feature.
- Superthrottle
Hold right trigger first and left trigger second for automatic sound off and frameskip to 10 for speed up. This try to avoid large time for intros and loading time.
- 2 floppy drives emulted
You can choose on filemanager a new disk for floppy A with A button and a new disk for floppy B with Y button.
- Savestates
A SubMenu called "SAVESTATE", in where you can find 4 slots to Save and Load from memory, if you reset the emulator that savestates are losted. Even using compressioin you will need a memory card with more than 1 MBit, compressed using Zip-9 takes a lot of memory at the moment.
- CRC Cache
DCaSTaway File Manager now try to know which games are in every disk image, it's possible quering a CRC database that contains the most typical Atari ST disk images: automation menues, medway boys, etc...
The CRC calculation can take a while during the loading. To solve this delay, the best you can do is to create a file from GNU/Linux or Windows with the 'mkcache' executable that its included into DCaStaway RC-1.
You only need to copy the EXE file mkcache.exe to the folder or directory in where all your ATARI ST images are, .zip, .st and .msd. Running the EXE will generate a file called stcache.txt.
If DCaSTaway file manager detects this stcache.txt file, will be interpreted and will not calculate the CRC included in that cache, reducing dramatically the files sample time.
